When Will My Life Begin

Description

While I very much love this picture I am frustrated to no end by my lack of a good scanner. -.- The glare kinda detracts from the otherwise beauty of the picture. But this is the best I could do for now. So, two Princesses left in my series (or first set, still haven't decided). *Side note I otherwise forgot--MM is in her ship--or is she? ;) Scanned 5/19.

Mastermind is owned by :iconzialightheart: and a is a proud member of :iconearth-g:

So, how the heck did you put these two together? (I know right, sweet, innocent Rapunzel with cold, calculating MM.)

1) At their core, both Rapunzel and Mastermind are fueled by curiosity--both just take a very different approach. MM is intrigued by possibility and spends her day experimenting (or researching). Rapunzel longs for knowledge of the outside world as well, trying to get every last morsel of knowledge from her books. Both are also very strong willed, making their decisions and sticking to them, regardless of consequence, once she knows what she wants.

2) Seclusion is another similarity. While Rapunzel has a tower, Mastermind has her ship. And both don't really leave all that much. (Mastermind by choice, Rapunzel not so much.) It should be noted when both leave their respect seclusion, mayhem and mischief are sure to follow on some kind of wild adventure.

3) Few friends. Rapunzel has Pascal to keep her company while she waits for Mother Gothel to return from her outings. Later she also has Flynn and Maximus (as well as the ruffians) who befriend her and link her to the outside world. Mastermind has Muckmaw largely, and on occasion Vice in her ship to keep her company. Legacy and Velocity are also welcome, with Velocity on the ship more than Legacy. These friends (oh, and there's Skylar...) keep MM connected to the outside world and attach her to it.

4) Debonaire fail rogues with great hair as a love interest. I love Flynn. He's probably one of the best "princes" around--but there's so many times he messes up! And that's Skylar in a nutshell. Skylar tries /way/ too hard and thinks way too highly of himself to really impress the girl. Despite their flaws, both men also make good allies (Flynn b/c he's really a good guy and Skylar b/c he's a very /powerful/ one.)

5) The hair. O.m.gosh. That hair. Really when I first cooked this up, that's what stuck in my mind. Rapunzel's hair has magical powers that help heal people and an endless variety of uses. Mastermind's hair--well... it's scary. And long. And we'll leave it at that. It also has powers, just of a different sort.

So, hopefully next week (or maybe the week after, most likely) I can close up with the final princess villainesses. :D

This is totally boss. Her figure is great! Perfectly proportional and I'm surprised the hair looks so good, since it's so hectic and all over the place in Rapunzel's design (so much hair, I mean).
